For the webventure project my goal was to create an engaging and fun experience (especially for those that also enjoy skiing). I did so through creating a series of different pathways and routes in which a participant could select from to lead to different outcomes of a ski day. I picked a central theme of skiing for this project and based it off of the winter park trail map and resort as a whole. I feel like this webventure experience could relate to anyone that is interested in skiing as it includes various different outcomes and elements that occur for many people during a ski day. My favorite part about this project was the ability to learn how to make GIFs in Photoshop and understand more about the ins and outs of websites and website design. Something that I struggled with during this project was time management. I had expectations for the project that I inevitably had to cut down due to the time restraint. Creating the GIFs and pages of the website took way longer than I originally anticipated. As for the GIF making process I feel as though I also struggled quite a bit as I had to go back and rewatch the video from the lab to get a better understanding of how to make them. I also was getting pretty frustrated with the software, especially not being able to work panel by panel and instead having to duplicate layers in order to move elements. It got a little overwhelming, but I did have a lot of fun making them and creating this project in general. I think the outcome was pretty cool and entertaining.
